The translation is based on your language preference and the language preference of the member whose profile you are viewing. For example, if your language preference is English and you view the profile of a member whose language preference is French, the member's profile will be automatically translated for you. However, if the French member has their language preference set to English, but writes their profile in French, the profile will not be translated.
